Radical Sportscars SR3 Barber Motorsports Track Record / Fastest lap Onboard / Qualifying 1:25.2
I had been blocked in prior laps, I had one last chance to put down a flier. Definitely using all the track on the exit of 1!
Radical Sportscar SR3 RSX 1500 onboard video of fastest lap. Set during qualifying around 8.25am in August, dry warm (74F) conditions. Brand new Hankook slick tyres.
The time of 1:25.273 was fast enough for SR3 pole position and a new SR3 track record!
(In terms of possibilities to go faster: There's another 0.2 in braking for T5. In this lap I brake at the 1.5 marker; you can actually brake a the 1 marker. There's a little time between T8 and T9, and higher min speed in T9. In T12 a min speed a smidge higher is posssible, perhaps 97-98; I'm at 95-96MPH. There's also a little time in exit of T16. )

A chilly and very wet ending to the Radical Cup USA season. Here we see (or don't see) the perspective of the Championship winner at the start of the race. After 2 laps so much water had entered the helmet that fog built up between the water droplets making it exceptionally difficult to fight for the lead.

A friend watched a Porsche Boxster explode on impact and turn into a Fireball at Laguna Seca during POC Red Race Oct 6th. Fastest lap at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in a stock Porsche RS 4.0 street car Time: 1:33.098 (Only mods are different DOT tyres & roll bar & harnesses) Is this a lap record for a full interior, street legal, Porsche 911 at Laguna Seca? If anyone has a video of a faster lap at Laguna of an unmodified 911 GT3 (full interior, factory aero, factory engine, 993/996/997/991) please do share and post!

I don't care wether you have a Porsche GT3RS, Dodge Viper, Corvette, Ferrari or whatever. These things will destroy just about anything on track. One Lapped the Nurburgring @ 6minutes and 45 -ish seconds.
And that one was on Gen 1 aero and electronics. I would imagine newer ones could chop 20 seconds off of that.

The speed through the esses is nuts. I’ve driven it a few times but I can’t even imagine carrying that much speed. Talent, technology and horsepower.

Tyler Justus Paige the AIM dash and HD camera support these overlays. It's very convenient because it applies them whilst writing to disk in the camera.

I have a 996 GT3. I have done about 250 laps at laguna with it over the years. My best time is high 138 with yokohama slicks, car was stock other than a cup wing and splitter with added camber. 140ish with Hoosier R6 143 with competition street tires. What was this guy running for tires? Camber settings?

Vasilis Raptakis - indeed the downforce generated by the Radical is impressive and allows remarkable wet performance. It felt very predictable. However, the lack of visibility was the more difficult challenge. Often it felt like I had my eyes closed!
Sorry, but Tom Sykes did a 1.22 laptime on a Kawasaki zx10. 235 hp and slicks in WSBK.
